The new redesigned Opel Zafira Tourer will be unveiled in the Frankfurt Motor Show. This third generation compact car will set new standards with its flexibility and quality. The car has a new improved Flex7 seating system. The third line seating is still bent to the ground but the second line has witnessed some new changes. It provides separate benches to the passengers in the second line and the old bench format has been removed. The seats can be folded flat and will slide along the 210 mm. The other features in the Opel Zafira Tourer included the generous cabin and a flexible seating system.

A three line sitting arrangement with superior comfort features. However the third line is still kept bent while the second row witnesses a new change. It now has three separate seats instead of the old one bench. The comfort of the seats has got better and can now be folded flat when required. The Opel Zafira Tourer also receives the generous cabin with the new flexible seating system.

The boot gets a new increase in shape and now accommodates about 710 litres of cargo. The convertible five seat configuration is the seats folded from behind gives a space of 1,869 litres. The car has just got better with the new sleek and premium touch given to it. The facelift added to the front of the car does wonders with the new graphics and the top redesigned headlight gives a great eye to the car. Opel also confirmed that the Zafira Tourer will come with a the MPV line up final production.

The Opel Zafira Tourer has been expanded with a range of fuel efficient ecoFLEX model. A new generation FlexFix bicycle has been integrated with the rear bumper. The interiors have got new colour and trim options too. There is a panorama windscreen that flows like a glass sunroof from the front to the end of the vehicle.

This new van by Opel will have Compressed Natural Gas as well as Liquid Petroleum Gas. It has a FlexConsole central storage system and a FlexFix bicycle carrier which is integrated with the rear bumper. The interior gets a new touch with a new colour added with the trim options. It also has a panorama windscreen that acts like a glass sunroof and extends to the back of the vehicle.

Its flexible transport system and the generous interiors help the passengers to feel at ease. It also has the second generation eye front camera system. The Opel Zafira Tourer has a Lane Departure warning system and the Traffic Sign Recognition functionality has also been improved.

Some of the other features of the new Opel Zafira Tourister are the “Following Distance Indication” which informs the driver about the distance between his vehicle and the vehicle in front through a visual display. Also the “Following Distance Indication” feature warns about a possible collision with the vehicle in front of the car. Similarly “Side Blind Spot Alert” warns about any imminent collision while changing lanes.

There are more driver assistance system which has been introduced in the Opel Zafira Tourer. The “Side Blind Spot Alert” alerts the driver when he is changing lanes. There is an Advanced Park Assist helping the driver to find adequate parking spaces and also guides him to get there. Finally the Rear View Camera makes the job easier for drivers in tight and crowded places. The price has not been finalised and will be given at a later date.
