Two Red ONE Cameras and Operators

To help expand its professional digital services, AMC now utilizes two Red ONE Digital Cinema Cameras to its line-up of advanced equipment. Two properly trained, competent technical operators also join the AMC team in order to meet the growing market requirement for digital cinema quality.

The Red ONE with upgraded Mysterium-X image sensor rates around 800 ASA and solves the low-light ‘blue hungry’ issues from the factory issued chips within the original design. The newest sensitivity and range of the Red ONE M-X, joined with film quality cinevized lenses, can make it the right fit for the studio or location setting.

“I revel in the freedom the Red ONE allows while in the studio. We’ve got a Kino and Fresnell tungsten arsenal which gives me a great deal of room to do business with, and the two Red ONE Cameras include that cinema quality depth plus the range to light creatively and make some beautiful images,” says Adam Barbay, head gaffer and grip along at the American Movie Co.

The 2 Red ONEs include a significant quantity of depth towards the budget capabilities made available from AMC, rounding out an array of possibilities that include many methods from DSLRs, to professional grade cameras much like the Sony F900.
