The “Interrotron System”, (aka Interritron) invented by famed documentarian, Errol Morris, is fast becoming the conventional way to shoot interviews. The system uses two special teleprompters, each equipped to simply accept videos image. The talent sees only the face of the director as well as the director sees only the face of the talent. Often the room is darkened as well as the two units are separated with a curtain.
