4 Great Ways to Improve Your Diet

Bad diet is the main reason why folks are overweight. Diet controls the energy in our bodies, our emotions, our weight, in effect – ourselves.

Often we mistake diet as a way to starve ourselves of nourishment, but it does not have to be so hard.

* Take note of your consumption of fruits and vegetables. It sounds obvious and you have heard it before many times. EAT MORE VEGETABLES AND FRUIT|FRUIT AND VEGETABLES! But not too much as excess fruit will give you too much sugar.

This means fruit diets may not be as healthy as you think. Fruit contains sugar and eating too much sugar is a big no no. Again, don’t overdo the fruit and veggies, but they are essential to your diet.

* Stop the extra portions after dinner like the cookies, pies, ice cream. Again, you probably know this is not helping your diet, but it must be said over and over again. STOP WITH THE SNACKING AFTER MEALS!

Reduce your oils and fats intake, and increase your consumption of healthier oils like olive oil. Then reduce your sweets intake. Nothing too drastic, start by reducing by half and work from there.

* Carbohydrates – this is where your body gets its main energy from. First it uses the carbohydrates, then the fats, and lastly the proteins when supplying our energy. Your carbohydrates supplies calories for the body’s energy which is what we’re trying to reduce.

If you don’t use all of the calories up, then you will have excess calories, hence excess fat. . So the rule is to eat less carbohydrates – try to keep them at 60% of you calorie intake. Don’t let them turn up in vast amounts.

* Another great method of reducing your fat consumption that is very popular lately is the use of Fat Binders which are known bind to about 28% of the calories you take into your body. Put all of the points listed above and you will be well on the way to losing those pounds. remember, it does not have to be painful. A little bit at a time is enough.
