Recycling Your Portable Auto Air Conditioner
Sep 25th, 2009 by Andre Alsaker

At the end of its life, you should have no issues recycling your transportable vehicle air conditioner, as there are no dangerous chemicals within this clever small machine. Brilliant design saw this machine assembled of plastic as main construction material.

The bigger elements are all made from recyclable plastic. This includes the container that holds the water, all of the caps and even the fan blades. Dismantle your cooler and dump all of the plastic parts in the right container at your recycling collection point.

You may now only have two wires and a tiny electric engine to get rid off. Should the engine still be in working condition it may be employed to drive many broken toys again or find a place in other experiments you will keep hidden somewhere in your den. The engine works with a simplistic 12V current that most battery assemblies or perhaps a vehicle battery can produce without any trouble.

Working motors with the fan blades still attached make quite beginner personal fans as well . Some new uses include getting wet nail polish to dry in a flash or helping grandmama handle her hot flushes. Never throw working machines away as somebody somewhere will have a task for it to perform.

Broken motors should be stripped and the copper wire within removed. The metal parts then go into the metal recycling bin but the copper should be dispensed in containers marked for copper only as copper is an expensive metal that recycles perfectly.

Taking some time to do that task will save our planet on the longer term and you will feel great as conservationist when you go and purchase a brand new replacement cartable vehicle air conditioner again. Fill her up with fresh water and off you go.
